Rototuna Rotary congratulates our club nominee, Zanthe Kitney, on her acceptance into the 2021 RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) programme. Zanthe, who works as a lifesaver, impressed our RYLA Panel Team with her submission and her commitment towards actively seeking out opportunities to develop leadership skills and personal development. We are proud to have Zanthe represent our club at RYLA 2021.
RYLA is targeted at young people with demonstrated leadership potential, and comprises an annual intensive one-week programme shared with other nominees from Rotary District 9930. RYLA draws on friends of Rotary to deliver a challenging and fun programme, building lifelong friends and has proven life-changing. Rotary Clubs within the district submit their nominees to the programme and sponsor attendance for those successful nominees accepted for the programme.
